RESOLUTIONS |
Secure, with God’s assurance, “I am with you and will keep you wherever you go,” we can make resolutions and step into the New Year feeling confident and determined.
God is dedicated to us. There are many ways to dedicate ourselves to God.
Your Stephen Leaders and Stephen Ministers resolve, in 2010, to serve God and Christ, by continuing to provide and offer distinctively Christian care to the LPC congregation and community.
Members and friends of the congregation can resolve to receive care from a Stephen Minister.
Members and friends can show dedication by resolving to guide others to request care from a Stephen Minister.
Two, or more, members of our congregation may resolve to dedicate themselves to God and Christ by attending Stephen Series Leader’s Training in Orlando, FL June 13-19 (Registration deadline: May 5, 2010).
As we make our New Year resolutions, let us give thanks, praise and honor to God and Christ for being with us and keeping us wherever we go.
Stephen Ministry Bio Brief
Were you aware that Louise Sadler, Stephen Leader Training and Continuing Education Coordinator, was born in Bainbridge, GA and raised Baptist? Louise has been worshipping at Lafayette Presbyterian Church for more than thirteen years and sang in the choir for 5+ years. Currently, Louise serves as an Elder and Clerk of Session. Louise is a member of the Evening Circle and has served as Chair, Presbyterian Women Life Membership Committee, and on the Worship Committee.
Louise’s faith journey includes prayers offered city-wide for her, then, ten-year-old daughter, Amy, and witnessing Amy’s miraculous healing, from Reyes Syndrome, after being in a coma for 7 days. Thankful for Amy’s full recovery, Louise witnessed, again, the power of God’s presence and love when her, then, thirteen-year-old son, Mick accepted Christ shortly after Amy was well. A Bible passage key to Louise’s faith is 2 Corinthians 9:8.
Contact Stephen Leaders John Lown, Referrals and Supervision Coordinator (877.4428); Louise Sadler, Training and Continuing Education Coordinator (878.8410); David Wiszneauckas, Stephen Leader Team Coordinator (559.4422); or Sandra Wiszneauckas, Awareness-Building Coordinator (894.1833) to receive care from one of our Stephen Ministers.
