“Freely you have received, freely give”. Matthew 10:8b. Background The Lafayette Presbyterian Church enrolled as a Stephen Series Congregation in December, 2008. LPC’s Stephen Ministry Leader Team is currently training 13 members of the congregation to become Stephen Ministers who will provide distinctively Christian care to those in our church and community confronted by a challenging loss or change and desiring care from a Stephen Minister. These 13 persons were commissioned on Sunday, August 30.
