VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL STARTS
Started July 27 and continues August 3, 10, 17
The Theme of Bible school is WALKING AS DISCIPLES under the leadership of Marlyn Weinell and Bob Henning. Classes and activities are planned for ALL AGES.

Each week there will be an opportunity to participate in a service project. See the inserts in bulletins for details. Meet in the Fellowship Hall at 3:00 PM each Sunday to join in the fun!!! The final event will be a presentation at the ICE CREAM SOCIAL on August 17th starting at 6:00 PM. Plan to spend these next Sundays learning the “Who, why, where, when” of the disciples of Jesus and how WE can all be His disciples.

AUGUST 24TH RALLY DAY
Come for a delicious breakfast at 8:45 AM when we will launch the new fall Sunday School Classes. The teachers will be introduced for each class (all ages) and then the students will go to their regular Sunday School Classes. The curriculum for all Children’s Classes will be “We Believe,” and will cover Old Testament Bible persons this Fall. The Adult Class 2 will continue the studies of “the Present Word.”  James Peacock will teach Adult Class 1 starting August 24. 

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Start at 9:45 and continue until 10:30. 
This gives all persons time to join the prayer service before SS at 9:30 and/or at 10:30 before the Church service each Sunday. 

NEW NURSERY ATTENDANT ADDED
Diane Papka has been employed by Lafayette Church as a second Nursery attendant to share the responsibilities with Elaine Petford. Welcome to our service. All parents are welcome to bring their infants and toddlers to our well equipped nursery. Ask your friends who have children to join us.
